DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Treat Yourself

“DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE IN ONE SESSION”

Are you recovering from an injury? Need a massage geared primarily towards therapy and rehabilitation? Then the DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE is just what you need.

Though this is often confused with Swedish massage, deep tissue massage is quite different. The difference lies in the fact that the deep tissue massage goes deeper than the superficial layer of the skin. This is done by applying more pressure than is used for the Swedish massage, sustained pressure is applied using slow, deep, strokes to soothe the inner layers of muscle and connective tissue.

It is used to treat muscle pain, chronic pain, and stiffness.

It is often recommended for those recovering from injuries, especially sports injuries. It is geared towards therapy and rehabilitation, not relaxation.
